How a claim is verified
Every requirement on a registration page carries a class, a source and a date. The classes decide what a page is allowed to say.
Evidence classes
| verified_external_fact | Directly confirmed in an official source or a page read during research. For a supplier profile this verifies what the record says, not that the claim is true. |

| observed | Visible in a live SERP, catalog, listing, review page or seller workflow at the stated date. |
| supplier_claim | Stated by a manufacturer or seller. Not independently validated. |
| estimate | Modelling assumption or range used because a binding quote or measured operating data was unavailable. |
| inference | Interpretation of evidence, not a verified fact. |
| unknown | Not safely established. Publishable only as an explicit unknown. |
Rules
What we will not do
- Describe a unit as approved, road legal or registration-ready without the evidence for that model in that country.
- Present a CE certificate as road-vehicle approval.
- Publish a review, testimonial, customer or address that is not real.
- Let a summary stand where the regulator's own text says something more specific.
- Leave a requirement unchecked for more than ninety days without marking it so.
