From order to handover
Every step from a frozen specification to keys in your hand, with the ones that can slip named.
Specification frozen
The configuration is fixed in writing: equipment, electrical design, and the approval route for your country. Changes after this are change orders.
Production
Built to that specification. You get milestone updates, and you are told when a milestone moves.
Inspection
Inspection and quality-control arrangements are confirmed in the written quotation and order, including who checks the built unit against the drawing you signed.
Freight
Container or roll-on freight, with insurance quoted as part of the purchase. Transit is weeks, not days, and it is planned as such.
Customs clearance
Entry, duty and import tax, quoted as part of the purchase.
Inland delivery
Port to your address on a low-loader.
Approval presentation
Presented on the route established at the start: RDW, a section 21 assessment, an IVA, whatever your country requires.
Handover
Keys and manuals. The applicable model, market and handover documentation is confirmed before an order is accepted.
The day after handover
What the law asks of you, not of us
Handover ends our sequence and starts yours. Four duties attach to a towable commercial unit once it is working, and two of the four instruments state no interval at all. What the law asks of the unit after it is delivered quotes each paragraph and names the date it was read.
