What we collect, and what we do not

This site sets no cookies, loads nothing from a third party, and does not record your IP address. What it collects is what you type into a form.

There is no analytics, no tag manager, no advertising pixel, no embedded video, no font loaded from somebody else's server and no session cookie. Every request a page makes is to this domain.

Not collected

The short list

Cookies	None are set, so there is no cookie banner to dismiss and nothing to consent to.
Analytics	No analytics of any kind runs on this site. We do not know which pages you visited.
Third party requests	Nothing is loaded from another domain. No fonts, no scripts, no embeds, no pixels.
Your IP address	It is not recorded with your enquiry. Our host processes it to serve the request and to limit repeated form submissions, as any host must, and we do not store it.
Browser storage	No localStorage, no sessionStorage.

Collected

Only what you type, and one thing you do not

Your name	As you type it. Kept.
Your email address	Checked for a valid form, then kept. It is the only field we require.
Your company	As you type it, where you give it.
The market or country you choose	So the approval route can be established.
What you write in the message or specification	Kept as submitted, in full, because the configuration is the specification being quoted.
The page you came from	The referring page on this site, so an enquiry can be read in the context it was sent from.
A reference and a timestamp	Generated by us so we can find your enquiry again and quote it back to you.

Why

And the lawful basis for each

To answer you, and to quote	The lawful basis is that processing is necessary to take steps at your request before entering into a contract.
To establish the approval route for your market	Which is part of quoting, and cannot be done without knowing the destination.
To keep the record a supply obligation requires	Where a unit is supplied, that record is kept because the law requires it.

Who else sees it

Named, rather than categories of recipient

The manufacturing partner	Your specification, so the unit can be priced and built. Not your contact details unless you ask us to introduce you.
An inspector, where the order includes inspection	The frozen drawing to inspect against.
The freight forwarder and the customs broker	The delivery address and the documents an entry requires.
The approval authority for your market	Whatever that authority requires for the route, which differs by country and is named on the country page.
Our host	The site and the enquiry store run on Cloudflare. Data is stored in their database service.

How long

Two of these are ours to choose and one is not

An enquiry that does not become an order	Kept while it is live and while a reply is reasonably expected, then deleted. Ask and we will delete it sooner.
An order	Kept for as long as the contract and the obligations under it run.
A supply record in Great Britain	Regulation 25(3) of the Road Vehicles (Approval) Regulations 2020 obliges the final supplier to keep a record of each small trailer supplied for not less than ten years, and breach is its own offence. That record is kept because it must be.

And how to use them

Ask what we hold	And we will tell you, with a copy.
Have it corrected	If any of it is wrong.
Have it deleted	Except where a record is one the law requires us to keep, which is the supply record above.
Object, or ask us to restrict what we do with it	And we will, unless we have to keep processing it to meet an obligation.
Take it elsewhere	In a portable form.
Complain	To the supervisory authority in your country. In the United Kingdom that is the Information Commissioner's Office.
