Quality
Inspection and quality control
Inspection and quality-control arrangements are confirmed in the written quotation and order. This is the regime we specify: six checkpoints between a frozen specification and a handover, so a supplier knows what will be checked and a customer knows what to ask for.

The regime
From freeze to handover
Specification freeze
Before any material is cutDrawing, equipment schedule, electrical design and the destination-market requirement set are agreed in writing. Nothing is ordered against a verbal change.
Design review
Before the frame is builtPoint loads, the electrical circuit schedule and the extraction sizing are reviewed against the menu or the service day the unit is for. This is the cheapest moment to find a problem.
In-build check
At fit-outPhotographs against the drawing at frame, at lining, and at first fix. Not an inspection, a check that the unit being built is the one agreed.
Pre-shipment inspection
As the order sets outWhere the written order includes independent inspection, it checks against the frozen drawing: dimensions, mass, equipment schedule, electrical test results, gas pressure test, water system, finish and identification. With the right to reject.
Acceptance
Five working daysWithin five working days of the inspection report we accept or reject in writing. A rejection names the requirement and the evidence, and it is not a negotiation about whether the requirement existed.
Arrival check
On deliveryTransit damage, completeness of the documentation confirmed for the order, and function of every installed system before handover to the customer.
The pre-shipment check
What an inspection verifies
| Dimensions and mass | Measured and weighed on the finished unit. Declared masses are not accepted. |
|---|---|
| Equipment schedule | Every item present, and every item the one specified. Substitutions are a rejection. |
| Electrical | Continuity, insulation resistance and RCD operation, with the certificate. |
| Gas | Pressure test with a certificate, locker ventilation, bottle restraint, appliance certification for the market. |
| Water | Potable-grade throughout, leak test, drain-down on every circuit. |
| Extraction | Volumetric rate measured against the specified figure, filtration fitted. |
| Identification | VIN structure and the WMI allocation, statutory plate legible and correct. |
| Documentation | The documentation confirmed for the order, complete, in the language of the destination market. |
| Finish | Panel alignment, seals, sharp edges, and the interior cleanable with no square internal corner. |
On a failure
What happens, and what does not
A rejection names the requirement, the evidence and the remedy. It does not become a conversation about whether the requirement existed, because the specification was frozen in writing before the build started and the standard is published.
Where a defect is remediable at origin, it is remediated and re-inspected. Where it is not, the unit does not ship. A unit that fails an approval at the destination costs everyone more than one that never left.
Where an order includes independent inspection, we pay for it. An inspector paid by the party being inspected is not an inspector.
